With "divinely delicious sandwiches", natural wines and beer, Scandwich has become a firm favourite with Stockholmers. Scandwich, which was founded in Malmö by brothers Oskar, Johan and Viktor, opened their first Stockholm branch in Midsommarkransen, and you can now find them on Malmskillnadsgatan in the heart of the city.
At Scandwich it's all about substantial sandwiches, natural wines, board games and good times. The restaurant on Malmskillnadsgatan in the centre of Stockholm serves both lunch and dinner, with the same concept but different menus - and, as well as sandwiches, they also do French fries as sides. In the evenings, the selection expands to include a few snacks to complement your meal with.
All their sandwiches are made from scratch to their own recipes, with artisanal attention to detail. Scandwich is the proud winner of the Swedish Sandwich Championships, and if you've tasted one of their sandwiches that will come as no surprise. The menu always includes at least one meat, one vegan and one vegetarian option, and in the evenings you can also choose the monthly special.
Drinks consist of selected natural wines from all over the world, as well as a generous range of beers. If you prefer something non-alcoholic they also have a selection of soft drinks.

I was at first pleasantly surprised, never had such a fancy sandwich served! But is probably not super impressed anyway, think it was ok but no more. However, ate a weekday lunch here, maybe better experience after a late night with wine? May test but won't be back for a weekday lunch anyway.
