Moose, venison and wild boar among the cobbled alleyways 

Among the cosy cobblestone alleys of the Old Town, Restaurant C&C is a relaxed spot with a great love for game. Eat classic Swedish dishes made with moose, reindeer and wild boar, among other things.

Restaurant C&C is located in a building dating back to the 17th century, which was originally called Källaren Dufvan and was owned by Carl Michael Bellman's grandfather's brother. The tailor's office also had its premises in the alley, which has given rise to the name Skräddargränd ("Tailor's Alley"). These days, Restaurant C&C is housed in the historic premises, decorated with horns and soft animal skins. The menu is full of classic Swedish flavours with a focus on game dishes such as moose fillet, reindeer medallions, wild boar fillet and venison meatballs. Most of what they serve is also gluten-free.

Drop in during a stroll in the Old Town and have dinner in relaxed surroundings. In the summer, Restaurant C&C also opens its outdoor terrace with plenty of space to sit outside and soak up the Old Town atmosphere under the open sky. The restaurant is just a short walk from the Old Town underground station but is well hidden among the alleyways that run parallel to the larger streets, making it a little quieter and more intimate.
