Speedy health food with plenty of flavour 

Fresh and hearty salads served in no time is the concept at Salladsmagasinet. Eat on site in the Hornsgatan venue, grab your food on the go or have it delivered straight to your door.

The lack of a lunch spot where the food is both healthy, easily accessible and quickly served prompted the duo behind Salladsmagasinet to open their first restaurant. The concept is now available in several locations in Sweden, including in Södermalm. The small, personally decorated venue is right next to Zinkensdamm. White tiles and powder pink walls and ceilings are interspersed with details such as bowling pins, an antique camera and disco balls. In the summer months, a couple of chairs are set out outside the entrance, with a view of the Hornsgatan/Ringvägen intersection.

In the kitchen, they make salads using good and natural ingredients that will provide the body with plenty of nutrition, without compromising on taste. The menu is updated with the seasons, but always lists options with meat, chicken and fish as well as vegetarian and vegan proteins. There is also a guest salad that changes monthly. All variants contain a salad base and special slaw, and are then pimped up with everything from fresh vegetables and avocado to eggs, hand-peeled shrimp, crunchy nuts and dressings.

To avoid waiting for your food, perhaps during a lunch break when time is short (or when you're just really hungry), the salads are pre-packed and ready to take on the go. Delivery and catering are also offered if you order five or more salads, making them especially suitable for meetings, conferences and other occasions where energy needs to be kept at a steady level.
