Where to find Stockholm nightclubs open after 3am

A popular spot for rounding off a night out if you haven't had enough when Sturecompagniet closes. Big names find their way to this exclusive 5am sister club in the building's basement; international celebrities such as Puff Daddy and Timbaland have frequented the club. Get there early to be sure of getting in.

In the autumn, winter and spring, Under Bron is one of Södermalm's most popular (and perhaps most 'cred') club venues, with both art and DJs under one roof - and until 5am too. During the summer months, the whole place is transformed into the crazily popular Trädgården (open until 3am).

Possibly the liveliest boat in town is moored off Söder Mälarstrand and is best known for its on-board clubs. The parties carry on until 5am, with dancefloors bopping to well-known hits as well as several bars.

The name of this club may seem somewhat misleading, given the generous opening hours where the night never seems to end. Housed in the Royal Opera House, they've created an intimate club experience with a capacity for 150 night owls.

Club Backdoor, right by the Tele2 Arena, describe themselves as the best gay club north of Ibiza. On Fridays and Saturdays you can dance to pop hits, 90s music, house and hiphop all night until 5am.

Queues have formed outside Rose nightclub for many years. A popular spot for when you're not quite ready to go home and want to dance the night away. The team behind Rose have created a slightly more elegant nightclub with a decadent atmosphere and lively feel.

The large outdoor staircase on which revelers gather every evening during the summer months has become almost legendary. Dance to everything from techno and house to hip-hop under the open skies, or seek out the dancefloors and bars indoors.
