Märtha Restobar & Terrace

MS Crown Princess Märtha on Söder Mälarstrand is an 100-year-old ship transformed into a social meeting place on the water with food, drinks and events. Sit in the sun on the roof terrace and admire the views over Riddarfjärden bay. 

Stockholm is known for its beautiful views over the water, and Märtha on Söder Mälarstrand is a great spot for making the most of them. The old steamship has been the midnight express in Norway, a blockade ship during the war and even spent a few years in the Caribbean. Nowadays, she's a social meeting place where you can eat, drink cocktails and take part in various events such as live performances, DJs, wine tastings and workshops. 

During the summer months, the sunny roof terrace is a watering hole for anyone who wants to enjoy something to eat or a post-work drink. Seafood, fish and pizza are served here, as well as beer, wine and cocktails. The menu also includes a cheese and charcuterie tray that can be washed down with a glass of wine. From the summer of 2024, the historic chimney has also been transformed into a cava bar, where you can sip cava in a lounge with a view of the City Hall. For cooler days, there's also a bar and indoor seating in cosy nautical style. 

You can also hold meetings and parties on the historic ship, whose indoor and outdoor spaces can be rented for private gatherings and corporate events. In the lounge and wine bar, you can hold lunch, dinner and cocktail parties, and you can also book the foredeck on several levels, with a bar by the water, or drinks on the roof terrace.
