At Chingu, you can enjoy Korean BBQ any day of the week, perfect for a social meal. Food is grilled with high-quality ingredients and selected sides at the table. On the lower floor, there Chingu's bar serves signature cocktails and street food with a taste of Seoul.

At Sin Ramen Slaughterhouse, you'll get a truly Japanese experience without having to travel further than Slakthusområdet, Stockholm's former meatpacking district. Köket vid Bordet is a fitting name for this small Södermalm restaurant, where diners sit just a few steps away from the kitchen where the food is prepared. The restaurateurs draw inspiration for food from all over the world, but particularly from Sweden and Europe.

Restaurateurs Rima Ismails and Samir Kersh opened their restaurant Kanon in 2024 and it quickly became a very popular spot. Here, they serve a grill menu inspired by the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and South America.

This French-influenced neighbourhood restaurant, high up in east Södermalm close to Vitabergs park, makes regular appearances on Instagram with their Cacio e pepe. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's an ideal place to come any day of the week, for cocktails or a cosy dinner. The standard's always high at Café Nizza.

Michelin-starred chef Björn Frantzén is behind this ambitious brasserie in Östermalm, but despite the high gastronomic bar, Astoria aims to be a relaxed meeting place for anyone who wants to hang out and eat and drink well. The restaurant takes its name from the building it's in, the former Astoria cinema. The menu consists of Continental flavours.

Bar Agrikultur is a well-loved restaurant gem on Nytorget. With only a handful of seats, the experience is intimate and the service is spot on. Enjoy European small dishes from a menu that changes regularly.

Traditional Italian dishes such as pizza, pasta and antipasti are given a slightly modern twist, according to their philosophy that a meal shouldn't just be a meal, it should be a celebration of life. 

The bar and restaurant at Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel right in the heart of the city is a relaxed and sophisticated meeting place that's open all week. Start your day with their breakfast buffet, have lunch, or enjoy dinner in the hotel's Scandinavian surroundings

At Nostrano, the week gets an elegant finale with Italian flavours in a new format. Their homemade pasta dishes alone are worth a visit, but if you want to go all out, you can put together your own four-course menu that's rounded off with dessert and perhaps a little grappa. Despite the white tablecloths and crystal chandeliers, the atmosphere is relaxed and familiar.

In Östermalmshallen indoor food market, Nybroe Smørrebrød serving smørrebrød open sandwiches in all imaginable varieties. Until late afternoon, you can drop in and satisfy your hunger with this Danish delicacy, washed down with a little snaps or a cold beer.

This award-winning little restaurant at the end of Folkungagatan has been a favourite with Stockholmers since they opened. From the outside, Pat's Place doesn't look like anything special, but once inside you'll find an unpretentious restaurant serving delicious Thai tapas.

There's been a beer hall at this address since the early 1900s, and its original glory has been beautifully preserved, with patterned floors, high ceilings, simple wooden furniture and a lively atmosphere where friends, families and sports fans gather to enjoy good food, drink beer and socialise. The menu features meatballs, fried herring, pytt i panna hash and other Swedish classics.

Whether you're craving a perfectly served beer or some hearty Eastern European home-cooked food, Soldaten Švejk is the place to come. Various schnitzels are classics on the menu, as well as goulash and breaded cheese, best paired with a full-bodied Bernard or Gambrinus. The unpretentious venue enhances the atmosphere, which is relaxed and friendly.

Pair your meal with wines hand selected by the owners themselves. 

You can count on mega-popular, award-winning Ho's in Hornstull seven days a week. Groups of families and friends gather here to eat authentic Chinese dishes in a relaxed atmosphere, and for anyone that prefers Thai food, their sister restaurant Ho's Thai is just a few doors down.

Sundays are perfect for really rich, tasty comfort food, especially if Saturday night was a big one. At Texas-influenced Brisket & Friends, you can build your own meal of protein paired with sides like mac n' cheese, creamed corn, and sweet potatoes. Cosy and warming.

You don't usually need to book a table if you're a small group, but at popular times it's worth being on the safe side. The menu includes bistro classics such as Toast Skagen, meatballs and Beef Rydberg.

There doesn't seem to be anything that Urban Deli doesn't do. Naturally, they're open on Sundays. Choose from small and large dishes; everything from shellfish to meat dishes and seasonal salads. Much of what they serve comes direct from their own adjoining food hall.

Stortorgskällaren on Stortorget, the Old Town's central square, is open all week. Classic Swedish dishes with a twist are made from organic, locally-produced ingredients.  The building is a former furniture workshop, a heritage that gives the restaurant a unique character, with lots of wood.

Do as the Italians do and gather your friends and family for a proper Sunday dinner! At Florentine, you can enjoy authentic Italian dishes made from scratch, sip cocktails, and revel in the disco-influenced atmosphere.

Everything at Meno Male is Italian, from the smallest grain of flour to the authentic atmosphere. They serve up a steady stream of pizzas in simple but pleasant surroundings, making it a popular spot. They've even been given an award from the Italian Chamber of Commerce!

Little Babette is part of the stretch of trendy restaurants along Roslagsgatan and getting a booking here isn't always easy. Legendary pizzas, innovative small dishes and an impressive wine list are on offer seven days a week, and what could be more perfect on a Sunday afternoon?

This popular pizza bistro on Skånegatan also serves various Zeitgeisty main courses. Lots of guests come just for the pizza though, which is served direct from the wood-fired oven. Open until late seven days a week.

At this rustic yet posh pizzeria pizzas are made from organic flour from Saltå mill and cut up into slices so everyone around the table can share. You can also get salads, flatbreads and chicken wings, and combine it all with Swedish microbrews.

Take a pew among the wooden chairs and communal tables and choose a favourite from the limited pizza menu with both new and classic flavours. There's always a special pizza of the week, made from seasonal ingredients.
