House, techno and much more

Its fantastic location and popular clubs have ensured that Berns has remained one of central Stockholm's party meccas for many years. The house club LE! and techno club Neu both have dancefloors that stay pumping until late at night.

Spy Bar

Classic Stockholm haunt

Spy Bar is another well-known Stureplan joint, which is frequented by everyone from media types to music fans. Come early to ensure you get in, queues can stretch around the block. But once you're inside, you'll find a packed dancefloor and intimate atmosphere.

Artsy club vibes under Skanstull bridge

Under Bron is open during the autumn and winter months, while in the summer, party people are welcome at Trädgården. Under Bron is a musical meeting place with DJs and arty performance parties. The crowd is mixed, represented by both hipsters and younger Södermalm locals. When Trädgården's outdoor stage is set up, you can hang out in the furnished courtyard full of bars, dance areas and comfy furniture.

Södra Teatern

Club mecca in Södermalm

"Södran" is a veteran on the Stockholm club scene, with popular clubs throughout the building. Whether you want to rock out to indiepop, listen to hiphop or go to great live performaces, this is the place to come. In the summer, Mosebacketerrassen, their large terrace bar, opens up with a party atmosphere and spectacular views of the city.

Since the '80s Café Opera has been the melting pot of choice for enthusiastic clubbers. It continues to live up to its renowned reputation, with opulent decor, a well-stocked bar, a large dance floor, spacious lounge area and hot DJs. Slakthuset

New York meets Berlin

In the old meatpacking district south of Södermalm, Slakthuset features two dance floors and various types of music. One primarily focuses on electronic music and often hosts big DJs, while the other concentrates on dance-friendly party classics. During the summer months, the terrace opens up, with a lively atmosphere in the evenings.

You can always count on Debaser - whether it's hanging out at the bar, partying or live music you're after. Just follow the waterside walking path in Hornstull until you get to where the party's at. They have regular theme nights with concepts such as democratic dancefloor. Keep an eye on their website for the current programme and ticket sales.

Former ferry terminal

The former Birka ferry terminal in Slussen has been transformed into Stadsgårdsterminalen where Kollektivet Livet has moved in and created a huge cultural centre, with live performances, exhibitions and nightclubs. Keep an eye on the programme to see who's putting on a club on any particular night - they play everything from afrobeats to techno here.

Since 1994, Lemon Bar has been gathering clubbers from all corners of town to dance the night away to sing-along-friendly hits. Creative cocktails are shaken and stirred in the bar and the dancefloor fills up quickly with party people.

Patricia has established an almost legendary status as a gay club and nightspot in Stockholm over the years. The lively nightclub boat can be found moored alongside Söder Mälarstrand. Choose from one of the many bars or one of the two terraces in the summer. The party continues here until 5am from Friday to Sunday.

Vibrant jazz vibes

Fasching on Kungsgatan delivers packed dancefloors and innovative live jazz performances year after year. With its dedication to jazz and soul, the club appeals to a varied audience. The nightclub is open several days a week with concerts, gigs and live performances, but their nightclubs are on Fridays and Saturdays. Their Soul club is a perennial favourite.

The Laughing Duck isn't exactly a nightclub, but they often have guest DJs and they're open until 3am every day. People of all ages come to hang out over hearty, no-frills pub grub and drinks and the mixture of rock, hits and pop coming from the loudspeakers in the evenings often gets the crowd up and dancing.

This Stureplan club is open until 3am seven days a week, and has free admission. The place has been around since 1997 and is famous for its generous opening hours. 

Club Backdoor

Scandinavia's largest gay club

Club Backdoor call themselves the best gay club north of Ibiza, and the largest in Scandinavia. Opening hours are generous - you can party until 5am on Fridays and Saturdays here. This rainbow club welcomes everyone 18 years old and over, with extra love for homo, bi and queer partygoers.

Extensive offering

Sturecompagniet is one of Stureplan's oldest and most popular clubs. And under "Stures" you'll find Hell's Kitchen, which caters to an audience that doesn't want to go home after 3am. A favourite with celebs in the mood to party all night long.

Anything can happen

Golden Hits – Stockholm's pop hits bar with three dancefloors. Stockholmers and tourists alike flock here. Hits, singalongs and dancing

Cliff Barnes may not be a nightclub in the traditional sense, but the restaurant and bar has been known for its festive atmosphere since it opened in 1995. On Fridays and Saturdays, there are proper party vibes, with hits, singalongs and dancing well into the night. 

Watering hole on Norrmalmstorg

Around midnight, a large crowd of club-hungry Stockholmers gathers at Norrmalmstorg and clubs Rose and Fou are the reason. The clubs are right next door to each other, but the atmosphere and club vibes differ. If you enjoy letting loose on a packed dance floor, Rose is the best option.
