Each visited Meat & Fiskbaren iförrgår. Earlier this week I read DI's review of rather than, which made it extra exciting (especially since they said that they had been there several times as they sounded very confident in their case). And I can say that I could not keep with them less.
First of all, we were a little late, so the servant had released our table, which was understandable because it was full. He did, however, smoothly. We had a beer at the bar, he had fixed a new table a few minutes later. He was a bit "cool", but no problem. Then when he had taken our orders we had a waiter who was both experienced, extremely nice and sick fun. Joked in principle all the time with us, which would normally be hit very badly, but he did and it took off our evening.
Are a sucker for eating many different dishes, so I was happy over the long and exciting "small" menu. With prices, often a bit under dog ring, so I expected me to SMALL tapas, but it turned out to be rather a bit smaller entrees, so I have to say that it was very generous rates. Meat dishes were perhaps not as cheap, but it is in most places these days if you're going to have good stuff. As with my visit to Köttbaren in Malmö for a year or so ago so the meat was very good (both cooking and raw material), and amazing.
The place itself is sick nice, as I would have expected because F12 always has the best looking/nicest places. Do not understand how you can give a restaurant so bad press and cold the fiasco when they complained about obviously is teething problems (that the food takes a long time, dishes that are forgotten, etc, logistics simply ... did not sound like they had unpleasant treatment directly). It disappeared two small dishes and any drink even from our order, but I would never judge a place for such a thing.
In conclusion, our visit was very successful, through and through. The only thing I can say is it half-cool attitude in the beginning, some orders were lost, and the meat was a little rich.
