You'll find this urban summer oasis on the waterfront of Marievik, with views over the water and Hornstull. Plåtparken, Stockholm's first boxpark, is built up of old containers and includes everything from markets and flea markets to cultural events and sports.
Plåtparken used to be in Skanstull, but moved to Marievik “south of Södermalm” in summer 2024. The idea is to offer Stockholmers a colourful place to hang out in the summer, whether you want to do something active, stimulate your cultural senses, or just relax with a cold beer in your hand.
Among the containers, there's a bar where they serve cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks, and if you want to line your stomach with something hearty they serve streetfood such as burgers and bao buns. The park also has a boules lane, several saunas and plenty of al fresco seating framed by leafy plants, fairy lights and chilled music.
