Kanto in Vasastan is Stockholm's first Filipino restaurant. They previously ran a catering business and pop-ups but can now be found in permanent premises on Rörstrandsgatan. The atmosphere is cosy, welcoming and intimate.

The lunch menu at Kanto consists of Filipino favourites made from primarily local ingredient and lots of love, in the form of bowls, burgers, stews and other tasty dishes. At weekends they serve brunch, where classic brunch dishes such as pancakes and Eggs Benedict are given a Filipino touch.

In the Philippines, ”Tara na sa kanto” is a local slang expression meaning meeting up and enjoying good food and drinks in pleasant company. This expression reflects what Kanto is all about, and having a great time with friends and family is what this Filipino restaurant in Vasastan is all about.
