Reventón Tapas & Bar

Reventón Tapas & Bar brings a little taste of Spain to the slightly chillier environs of Sibirien in Vasastan. They serve tapas based on Spanish culinary traditions but with influences from all over the world. Come by for something to eat or take a seat for a glass of cava at the bar.

Reventón means explosion in Spanish, and it can also refer to a big party or a night out on the town. This tapas bar, on a sleepy side street off lively Odengatan, serves up neighbourhood restaurant vibes, Spanish tapas with international influences and a wine list packed with European wines, in particular Spanish ones. Naturally, you'll also find sangria on the menu.

There's plenty of space for everyone here. The relaxed atmosphere draws in large groups coming to enjoy a slap-up dinner as well as guests who come alone to have a quiet glass of wine or cocktail at the bar. The restaurant is decorated in muted tones with candlelight. Brown leather banquettes line the walls, there are large paintings on the walls, wooden panels and a large bar in the middle of the room.

If you want to start your evening off with some snacks there are olives, padrones, cheese and charcuterie on the menu. Tapas-wise you'll find flavours from Spain and other corners of the world, including steak tartare, tacos, corn-on-the-cob, burrata and slow-cooked dishes, and the menu is updated regularly.
