I hate going to the movies. Think that you sit uncomfortably and that it is generally cozier to watch movies at home. BUT! That was before I was at Bio Capitol!

We celebrated a birthday and rented a salon for ourselves. It is perfect during the Corona pandemic but something you can do even in normal cases. It is a bit more expensive than the regular Bio ticket but ACK so cozy! Considering that you have the salon to yourself!

The salon is in the old style. Large comfortable armchairs and sofas with small tables and small lamps on. True Art Deco style that I absolutely love! Into the salon you can choose to buy both food and / or drink. We chose both and pre-ordered via email. My expectations were at medium level when it comes to the food - but my goodness how surprised me! The roe pizza was MAGICAL! So, that pizza dough... YUM! The winter tomatoes were also good and the cheese plate cozy to sit and pick with. The wine bottle was delivered in an ice bucket and was good too!

Have not been to the Bistro yet but would like to try it in the future!
Can really, really recommend!

Love the old-school style. Art deco. Table with a cushioned lamp at each seat.
The seats are divided into A; B and C categories where A is the most expensive due to the best location.

Had a very good evening here with both dinner and movie. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good. I hope this place goes well, happy to go back even just for film. Varied movie selection with new and old, really well done with armchairs/sofas with small tables and accompanying lamps that did not bother at all. Nor when some sometimes went out and back in for bar orders. Feels like a fiver but want to try more of the food that normally is in the bistro. At our visit it was specialtema with pizza and wine with an enthusiastic sommelier. In the movie there is also a separate smaller food menu.

Such a lovely cinema! Proper velvet armchairs and a small table next to it so you have something to put your glass of wine on. In the entrance there is a bar where you buy drinks, even alcoholic ones, and snacks. Popcorn in little brown bags and old candy tablet boxes that I haven't seen in years, love it about this cinema that everything is thought out and stands out from Film City. Väldigt mysig och mer intim bioupplevelse än normalt! Rekommenderar dine-in, god mat som levereras diskret. Beställningsmöjligheten från platsen i salongen är mycket praktisk och bra, önskar dock att snacksutbudet var bättre. Servicenivån likaså.

Jag vill så gärna tycka om denna bio men har blivit besviken bägge gångerna jag varit här tyvärr. Otroligt fin yta och bra filmutbud, men det känns lite Pang i bygget när man väl är där. Väldigt överprisad med tanke på hur trånga säten det är (jag är 165 cm lång och smal men tyckte det var väldigt trångt). Och hoppas att de framför inte lutar sina säten bakåt för då kommer du inte kunna röra dig.
Utöver detta stängdes inte dörren till salongen förrän ca 20 min in i filmen, och ute i korridoren var det ljust och man hörde folk som pratade. Så svårt är det inte att leverera en ok bioupplevelse, men Capitol verkar mest bry sig om att se fint ut på foto. Gå till Rigoletto eller BioRio istället och få mer utrymme och en fin bar för en mindre peng.

Är inte alls intresserad av bio-delen, men lunchen är bra! Åt en pannbiff som var riktigt fin. Extremt högt i tak(bokstavligt talat) och en uteservering som tråkigt nog inte såg ut att ha sol på sig under lunchtid.
Bistron är ganska liten och det är bara två som jobbar vilket va jävligt skönt. Sjukt avslappnat och inte alls stressigt som på vissa andra ställen där personalen ofta springer runt med panik.
Trist att det inte ligger närmre kontoret!
