17th century Edsbacka Krog is beautifully situated on Edsviken bay in Sollentuna. There's a pavilion and terrace where you can enjoy “social dining” with Swedish homecooking and French influences in one of Stockholm's most gorgeous settings.
Edsbacka Krog calls itself “the white pearl on scenic Edsviken bay”, and it's not hard to understand why. The restaurant dates back to 1626 and since then it has occupied a strategic spot between Stockholm, Arlanda and Uppsala. Enjoy lunch, an à la carte dinner or Sunday brunch in beautiful natural surroundings just twenty five minutes from Stockholm.
At lunchtime they serve two alternatives, a daily special and an à la carte menu. In the evenings they also offer a three-course menu with meat, fish and vegetarian dishes with Swedish homecooking as well as French influences. At the weekends they lay out a brunch buffet with both traditional and innovative elements.
Social dining beneath the chandeliers is the order of the day in the light, airy Silvia pavilion - a concept that's all about enjoying food in the company of good friends. In the summer months the leafy terrace, where you can enjoy charcoal-grilled dishes and refreshing drinks from Bengans Bar, is a popular spot. Right next to the restaurant is a large park area where happy kids (and adults) can have a run around.
