The Swedish Holocaust Museum is a museum in Stockholm that aims to preserve and pass on memories of the Holocaust, through the life stories and experiences of survivors and their descendents.
Explore the museum's exhibitions and collections consisting of historical objects, diaries, eye-witness accounts and other exhibits that explain the historical context of the Holocaust. Via the museum's first exhibition, Seven Lives, and modern media technology you can follow seven people of various ages and backgrounds and their journeys through war, persecution, concentration camps and death marches, to their arrival in Sweden where they created new lives and became part of Swedish society.
The Swedish Holocaust Museum was formally established in the summer of 2022 with digital activities and lectures, and in 2023 they opened up the doors to the first physical exhibition on Torsgatan in Vasastan. The museum will be housed here for at least five years, as they search for a permanent premises.
