Original review 2015: For some reason, I haven't been able to eat at Boquerian until now. Took four different dishes, but if you are hungry/big in the food, it might be time to take five. For me, four was enough but I still had to order another "hamburgereza" because it was so good. Other than that, I had tuna tataki (good!), croquettes with patanegra (good!) and sweetbreads (also good!). The venue is very nice, a lot of people and a nice pulse (this was a Friday night). The staff did a great job.

I’ve revisited this place for lunch recently. It was quite good. I find it strange that they serve Swedish-style daily specials when the place is Spanish-themed.
But I ordered a Spanish-sounding dish for lunch which cost double the price of the daily special. It’s a sandwich with grilled secreto de Iberico and comes with fries and paprika mayo. It was so big I couldn’t finish it and the secreto was overcooked.
I will still give the place another chance. The atmosphere was nice and buzzy.

Otroligt dåligt bemötande av personalen eftersom vi hade Dinner by Amex. Vi fick inte beställa vad vi ville trots att Amex har en regel att upp till en viss belopp ingår i erbjudandet sedan betalar kunden resten som är över det beloppet. Personalen visade tydligt att de inte ansåg att vi är värdiga kunder vilket också resulterade i att de fick oss att känna som att vi störde och att vi inte hade något där att göra. De sa något i stil med att "tror de att de ska äta a la carte på erbjudandet... " enormt otrevligt, nedlåtande och dessutom trist då detta var min första middag ute på länge efter en cancerbehandling.

What a mood it is here! Always think it looks very inviting out here. Lovely people, appetizing food and good wine. Like the kitchen is open so you can see when the food is cooked. Was there with a friend and thought it was sooo good. However, they were whole fried shrimp which was not something for me then I do not want to eat the shell, it told them not the right came in, the artichoke artical was a bit under salted, however, the taste of both rights was really good!!! Jag har nu vid det här laget jobbat mig igenom de flesta av Stockholms glammiga och mindre glammiga nattlivs-klubbar-barer-under broar-ställen. Om det är givet att jag älskar att dunka svensk schlager och gamla 80-tals dängor? JAAAAAAA!

Eftersom vårt (jag och mina fuldans-älskande kompisar) underbara Oxid legat nere så gick vi hit av ren chansning en kväll. Det var grått, trist och tråkigt ute och att köa till Spyan (ja, namnet är förlikat med mina känslor inför Spy Bar) fanns inte på kartan. Okej, riktigt så mycket ogillar jag det inte, men jag behöver min schlager!

Och vem möts vi inte av... om inte självaste Carola när vi kliver innanför dörrarna?! Inte i egen hög person men ni vet "Säg mig, åh, säg mig, åh, säg mig, åh, säg var vi står jag måste veta nu". Vi blev till slut kvar tills lamporna tändes och gick sen glada hemåt ... sådär som bara svenska kvinnliga fotbollsspelare kan göra i klackar. Ont hade jag men det var värt varenda danssteg!

Om du går hit kan du räkna med att kunna sjunga med till nästan varenda låt (Håkan, Queen, Spice Girls, Kikki D, ABBA), få trängas med alldeles för glada människor och träffa likasinnade nördar. Det finns en större bar med yta om man vill stå och lufta av sig men jag föredrar den vid dansgolvet, kommer dock inte ihåg vad för typ av drinkar man kan beställa eller vad som smakat gott eller inte... but I love it!
