Blunda Events
Blunda Events is an eye-opening activity where businesses and groups can practice their teambuilding and communication skills. Blunda means “close your eyes” in Swedish and by closing your eyes you experience things from a whole new perspective as well as becoming more aware of your own signals.
Are you aware of how you use your voice? Are you a good listener? Every day we send out and receive a huge number of signals and interact with our surroundings in ways we're not always conscious of. But what happens when you can't use your sight any more, and have to rely on hearing, smell, taste and touch?
At Blunda Events they offer activities that aren't just fun and good for strengthening team spirit, they also make you think. When you carry out your kick-off or meeting in pitch black you're forced to leave your comfort zone and practice your ability to really speak and listen to each other.
The exercises are fun and safe, and can be adapted to suit your group's requirements. One of Blunda's coaches will lead you through the activities, which will be carried out wherever you're holding your event. You can work out what objects you're touching or fix coffee and cake - all while wearing an eye-mask that completely blocks out the light. Challenging, insightful and really good fun.
Blunda Events is run by a foundation for visually-impaired people. All coaches at Blunda are visually impaired, so they can provide you with all the tips and strategies you need to improve your communication, trust and cooperation skills.
