Taysta

Taysta is run by a large team of passionate and personal sommeliers, chefs, brewers and whisky masters. Together, they organise exciting food and drinks experiences for private individuals and companies around Sweden. 

The course leaders at Taysta are passionate about food and drinks and most of them work at restaurants as sommeliers or chefs, as brewers at a brewery or whisky masters at a distillery. Most of them have a bachelor's degree in food or drink from Grytthytte Akademi or a similar culinary school. Knowledge is valued highly and all Taysta leaders love sharing their skills and knowledge with others. 

Drink and food tastings are held in a food studio in the Old Town, where guests are promised a flavour experience, whether it's within the world of wine, whisky, beer, cider, champagne or perhaps liquorice. In addition to tastings, they also arrange courses and experiences, often food and drink-themed, for example beer brewing, bartending courses and guided city tours. 

Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and high level of service in the studio. The laid-back, relaxed feel creates a sense of community in the group as you learn more about food and drinks together, and at the same time creates space for discussion. And the activity isn't all about learning - flavour experiences and a memorable time are equally important.
