Weindels Pastry Shop is like that black dress you have in the closet; Not very funny but still works always.

I have tried to think about why I have not reviewed Weindels yet and frankly it is enough because I do not remember this place until I go by and happen to stumble through the door. I would probably not deliberately go here. It is not surprising because the environment is so boring with a sense of school dining room and dull light.

I am still amazed to see that almost the whole place is full on a sunny Sunday in February. So others will remember this place. It probably depends not on the coffee. We got the burned cappuccino where the machine would be cleaned long ago and somebody has to place the coffee amount and learn the Tempa milk.

Now for what is good here: the pastries. They are big, sweet and juicy. The counter with pastries is impressive so you should invite grandma to a coffee so go here. It is still unpretentious and feels like a pastry was before the café culture lifted up many places during the 90talet. They have completely crazy big "vacuum cleaners" and the pink pastries with butterflies is like a piece of heaven.

Once I ate a matpaj here and it was good and affordable. Otherwise, it is not a place I would go to to eat. I will probably continue to stumble by when it happens accidentally, maybe buy with me a pastry when it's time to snack outdoors. Then I buy the coffee somewhere else and sit in a park and enjoy.
