Shop in hornstull is very small but has an inviting display with light that beckons you from the boring Mall. This is the on Nybrogatan and then it's window shopping that may attract you in and it's not quite the same thing.
This is the shop with two floors where the upper floor is clothing, components, jewelry and other things in a smaller scale, while downstairs are treasures. Here you have a really great party area with straw, more numerous, tinsel, pinata in all forms and anything else you can think of.
There is also a furniture Department with things for the children's room and what can facilitate the home when it is invaded by children.
The toy Division is huge if you think of the size of the store. It is a long way from the hell you find in chain stores, but it's the real thing all the way.
Just the real thing is that I want to end with the awesome staff, is pulling and fixes for you to have a good experience and to meet the competition, they also have a webshop with a limited range. It was the lion that attracted us but it was the fairytale castle that made us stay.
Sometimes I get tired of myself when it comes to shopping malls and malls. It's like not seeing the forest for all the trees and I really like the nice kids shops have totally missed that Sprall opened up in Hornstull. Well, better late than never.
Good lighting is a and O in a store and here they have really succeeded with it. From the first spotlight on the Gosedjuren at the entrance (Leo) to highlighting the fine clothes to the toy table that enthrones as a trophy at the bottom of the room but which you are slowly drawn to. It was also where my daughter found this year's Julkapp: a castle completely made of wood with amazing details and that serves as a whole castle when it is closed but that can open up and become like a tittskåp. So just perfect to play with.
Wood is what is consistently when it comes to toys and it makes me happy to see that more and more shops leave the ugly plastic behind it. I mean, nowadays, every newspaper with plastic toys so the value has, if possible, become even lower.
Besides fine toys there are also soft and nice clothes from babies up to 12 years. It is quality so the prices are then without being shockingly high. If you are looking for baby bottles and other things for children who are not in plastic, it is also here to go. Maybe you should give away a gift for a newborn? Go for a strawberry costume if you want to be funny and if you want to be smart you buy a gift card if they didn't ask for anything specific. Let the parents dress their own child. I remember that the first year had the daughter almost only clothes she received and some clothes she barely used before she grew out of it.
