Seid Seidov started dreaming about opening his own gelateria back in 2014 and five years later the dream became reality when GelatoNova opened its doors in Hagastaden. The finest ingredients are used, along with a large dollop of passion for the craft of making authentic Italian gelato.
While travelling with his wife in 2014, Seidov came up with the idea of opening his own gelateria in Stockholm. The idea was born when the couple tasted proper Italian gelato for the very first time during their trip - and it was love at first bite.
After five years of research about the production process and equipment it was time to make their dream a reality and begin serving homemade gelato to Stockholmers. At GelatoNova all the ice cream is made on site to traditional Italian recipes and the gelato is made from fresh ingredients, local dairy products and ripe, flavour-packed fruits.
The flavours on the menu are constantly changing, which means you can always find a new kind of ice cream to try out. All their gelato can be bought in three different sizes, but you can also choose to enjoy a scoop with waffles and other tasty accompaniments such as strawberries, cookie crumbs and whipped cream. You can also buy your favourite flavour to take home with you, in a litre or half-litre tub. As well as ice cream, they serve other classic desserts, as well as light lunches in the form of ciabattas and sandwiches. Great coffee, various kinds of tea and hot chocolate are also on offer.

Går hit för de roliga smakerna - jag har bara hunnit testa kinder bueno och apelsinkrokant men vet att de haft kexchoklad, ferrero rocher och annan gelato inspirerade av godissmaker. Inte i klass med Snö och Aryam men klart värt ett besök.
