Love Cajsa W. Feels like you have gone back in time, only to buy food in a wicker basket. The ingredients are fantastic and there is a range that is a bit more fun than ordinary shops. Expensive yes, but when you want to cost.
I love Cajsa Warg! So now I've said it. I am extremely grateful to no longer live near either of the two stores, it easily becomes far too expensive because I want to buy everything. All other food shopping pales in comparison.
The front part is intended to be both a café and a front for the finished takeaway food. You can buy everything from dinner bags, salads, hot food, grilled sandwiches and various drinks. If you are craving coffee, there is both brew and fine coffee. Here, however, it is extremely cold when it is not blazing summer outside. I asked about it and apparently something went wrong when they were renovating and the weird double door is supposed to keep it warm. It does not do its job but lets in cold but not customers as the inner door does not open. Saw several people during the hour I sat there who were standing in the middle until someone from the inside wanted out or managed to move so much that it went up. I had a little fun but was shaking from the cold so it was probably a combination.
I bought myself a grilled sandwich with porchetta and sauerkraut and it was both filling and good. Affordable or not, it cost 59kr and was exactly what I needed at the time. Too bad it was freezing cold and it was only November. I won't sit there again unless it's the middle of summer and why would I want to sit indoors, one might wonder. Then they have no wi-fi and with the office with me, it's something I prioritize.
The store, the heart of the entire business, is half a flight of stairs down. It is not exactly handicapped accessible, but the aisles are a bit narrow and then I only had a simple dramaten with me. However, it is adapted for those who are interested in food and if you can just stop thinking that it should be expensive, you will give it a chance. Yes, there are a lot of expensive but there are also affordable goods so leave your prejudices behind and enjoy that these kinds of stores exist.
The staff is cozy, nice and happy to stop for a little chat. This is also why they get four stars and not three.

I love to shop in Delicatessens. Go and look in the shelves and buying things you never tried before. Some things are familiar and others completely new and exciting. I usually buy their self-made sauces, truffle potato chips and their home-made tryffelråbiffar. It's always a treat to shop on Warg!
