A hotel on Gävlegatan in Vasastan. Not in the middle of it all, but an incredible, incredibly nice hotel. There are two different buildings that offer slightly different types of rooms and that are connected via a walkway. But in general, the hotel's appearance is very modern and stripped down. Sometimes a bit boring but still cool - a little split in look.
I got a room with huge windows on the ninth floor and a view of the Haga tower. It was truly a magical view! Incredibly lovely room! Comfortable bed, overhead shower. There was everything you needed but nothing that extra. Even the rooms are very modern and have the stripped-down style so it's nice, fresh but I thought it was missing something small on the walls to make it feel really cozy.
Nice breakfast, nothing super special. And a bit strange that there was a vacuum cleaner in the middle of the room and a cable pulled straight across the room for no real reason. The staff was a bit strange. Not as nice as you are used to hotel staff being but quite unhelpful etc.
Their rooftop restaurant Arc is amazing! See separate review for that one. However, the restaurant on the ground floor is not good at all...
But, I can definitely see myself living here again and really want to eat at Arc again.
