I have been to Yasuragi 2 times, the first time with a friend and the second time at work. Both times you are struck by what a magical environment, feeling and what calm it is at Yasuragi and the nature around it. Love that it is mobile free zone in the SPA. Would have liked there to be a little less people and a little fresher feeling in the rooms but otherwise magical!

We happened to visit a quite slow weekend, so our stay at the spa including a 3 course dinner was a lovely experience. The only reason it´s not 5/5 for me is the pricetag. I don´t thing this destination is supposed to be a "value for money experience", sure - but this is a lovely spa that I would visit more often, but it would be to pricey for me. I´d love to come back here soon, the pools are big, fresh and the layout of the spa makes it not crowded even in there are a lot of visitors.

Yasuragi is and will perhaps always be one of Sweden's front spa facilities, partly because they really embraced the Japanese culture but even then they really keep a high level of service. Everything from rocking chairs that you get to sleep in (my favorite chore) to several bathing areas adapted for all types of visitors.
But let's break down the problem-their bathrobes/kimonos/bathrobe/Call it what you want.
Is it a thing to take them home? I personally am quite uncomfortable with walking around in nothing more than slippers and said rock for a longer period, especially if you stay overnight and then take part of the dinner?
Okay sure it's well I am that is adorning and a little bit awkward with the bathrobes.
I really like Yasuragi, it's in my eyes a winning concept and they perform this with style points. The food is fantastic and clearly worth trying, the whole resort is covered in one's oasis of relaxation and relaxation.
The minus points for Yasuragi is that one eg. Accommodation costs approximately as much as a weekend to Prague. While it is absolutely affordable, I clearly understand why you would choose any other spa, eg. The boiling point in Västerås.
Now I only visit Yasuragi to luxury to it a bit in everyday life but I have heard from colleagues and other friends that their conference rooms are well planned and really are professional. Make what dream to attend meetings and then get the bubble a bit? Luxury < 3
