I've wanted to come here for a long time, and a few days ago it happened, and i'm just thinking, how can I not get here sooner?! So damn nice and cozy.
Stockholm's archipelago is a must every summer, but can sometimes be a long travel time if you don't have your own boat. And then fjäderholmarna is perfect with only 30 minutes boat ride from the city.
The island is not very big, but has everything you want. The archipelago feeling, cliffs, several restaurants and bars. Small shops selling various items, an ice cream shop and a glass shop where they also blow glass on site that you can look at. Playgrounds for children, a gigantic fia with nudge and yes to compile, really a bit of everything to make a full day here.
We brought a picnic, bubbly and a blanket and sat on the rocks and peeked out over the water and the boats. Since the weather would not be really hot so we skipped the swimwear but it could easily have jumped from the mountain and taken a splash. After the picnic, we made our way to the glass shop. And further we strolled to the harbour bar, fjäderholmarna tavern and finished at the brewery.
A fantastic ly cozy full day that I more of a gladly do again.
