Täby Centrum is my nearest "major center" and I think most of what you want is here.

Standard range for clothes, shoes, etc. but also a little smaller brands and more exclusive.
The food court is perfectly OK, although I tend to end up at La Neta when the kids aren't there.
Other restaurants work, although it is not exactly wow-factor over them, and so-called 'other range' offers most of it.
In summer, it is recommended to bring extra clothes - if you have children - because the fountain installation outside has never given me dry children to bring home.
But, as mentioned earlier, the center itself can be a bit confusing and I constantly use the touch screens with maps.
