Spritmuseum
Spritmuseum is an interactive museum out on Djurgården with a focus on Swedish history and drinking culture. The museum has three exhibition rooms: one housing the exhibition Dryckeslandet Sweden, one with temporary exhibitions about Swedish cultural history, and one which is the museum's art hall dedicated to the Absolut Art Collection.
The Dryckeslandet Sweden exhibition explores the history of Swedes' relationship with alcohol through, among other things, interactive stations and historical objects, singing along to snaps karaoke and learning about how spirits have influenced Sweden over the years. The temporary exhibitions also touch on Swedish cultural history with a focus on the world of drinks.
The large Absolut Art Collection contains works by both famous and unknown artists who have portrayed the Absolut Vodka bottle. This includes, for example, street art from 1980s New York and many expressions typical of the period. The museum also has a large collection of bottles, labels, photographs and objects that have been used in the production of wine and spirits, dating back to the 19th century.
