Family-owned bistro with catering and a chambre séparée
Chez Kny is a family-owned bistro and catering business housed in a cosy space in Kungsholmen. Drop in for a post-work drink with wines, cocktails and snacks, have dinner or hire out the entire place as a chambre séparée. For celebrations elsewhere, both takeaway catering and a slightly more exclusive Rent a Chef arrangement are offered.
Chez Kny is run by Katarina “Kny” Nyman and her sons Alex and Gabbe, and is the result of a shared passion for cooking, service and exciting flavours. Katarina's background as a designer has left its mark on the venue, where black and white photos, sturdy wooden tables and chequered floors create a uniform and homely feel. Something that further reinforces the feeling of being at home is that they have long seating times, so you can stay and enjoy yourself for a long time.
The bistro is open for dinner and post-work drinks on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, when snacks and snacks are served, hand-picked wines are uncorked and cocktails are mixed. The exact menu varies from day to day, depending on the seasonal offerings and the creative direction of the kitchen.
The entire place can be booked as a private dining room, guests then have the entire place to themselves and are served a customised menu with matching drinks. Chez Kny also offers catering, ranging from a tasting menu dinner to a buffet for hundreds of people, as well as a Rent a Chef arrangement, where the chef prepares food on site in the guest's home.
