You want to like this place a little more than you actually do. The location is really great, Right by the water and we sat on the outdoor terrace which is completely okay but with rock hard chairs that make you not like to sit for long. The food is absolutely good. But it doesn't quite make it all the way. Even if the food is good, it's too expensive for what you get. The starter, an onion ring with bleak roe and smetana was great - but certainly not worth £17.50. A Gin and Tonic for £17? No, no, no, no, no. I understand that it's the season, that it's the archipelago that people sprinkle money around here - but don't think it was affordable at all. For that amount, it must be much better.
My hair was good but not amazing and far too small. My husband's hamburger was ok, no more. Had the prices matched the food, it would probably have received higher ratings, but the balance here is far too uneven for it to be more than a three.
Bad was also that we booked a table 1.5 months before and clearly wrote that we needed to have a stroller at the table with our newborn baby. 5 hours before the booking they call and say that it is not possible but think that we should leave our sleeping baby outside. It was not possible to find another table on the whole sandhamn in the middle of the season at such short notice! If strollers are not allowed, it should be clearly stated on the website or that you reconnect immediately - not so soon before.
