How could I have missed that courtyard? It's really the courtyard of the courtyards, isn't it? Superstar Number 1! If there is a better courtyard in Stockholm, feel free to send DM, because in that case I have to get there right away!
It's like traveling abroad, entering through the gate and the dark passageway to Hallwylska's courtyard. How cozy can something be? Flowers, parasols, tables and benches that are scattered and I get happy and calm as soon as I enter here. Wanted to go back as soon as I left and I still want to!
We had a lovely full lunch here and I enjoyed every second! Chose their Toast Skagen because this summer I have been more or less obsessed with that particular dish! And my God, that's good! After eating my way through a lot of Toast Skagen this summer, Hallwylskas ends up at the top along with the one from hull. While Hull is very classic, Hallwylskas challenges the flavors a little with horseradish in the mess. It gives a little sting and heat, something I really liked! On top of that, it was firm (loathes runny skagen), reasonably generous clicks and good bread (although you could have got another slice)!
Go here and eat Skagen! Or something else! As long as you come here!
