I’ve been to Eataly countless times and to be honest I’ll continue to go back, especially in the summer on the terrace. But the food and the service can be very uneven. Sometimes, the daily pasta is just some raviolis tossed in some butter, nothing spectacular. And the portion is tiny. But the pizzas are tasty and huge. The service can be really friendly sometimes but others are slow and a bit dry.

We were here a big bunch from work and got a cozy table in the very beautiful room. (For it is really sumptuous). The look, atmosphere and feeling promises a lot, but it does not keep all the way through.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They looked neat out in the shirt and white apron that brings to mind the Nice taverns in Italy. They were knowledgeable about the wines, but unfortunately there were several of the wines that I tried that were not so very good. Their wine list simply did not fall to me at all-which I must say is unusual.
The food was quite okay, but not more than that. And the disappointment will be great just when the venue, the waiters and the menu promise so much.
I started with a carpaccio that was the tastiest I ate that evening. It was more than okay, actually good, and I'd love to eat it again. I then proceeded with a salsicciapasta that barely tasted anything at all (I can make a taughtsman at home) and then I finished with an Italian meringue that even it was very boring.
I wouldn't advise anyone from going here, because that's okay, but I wouldn't rush back in the first place.
This was not really up to expectations.
