I'm no jättesucker for sausages, although I like it of course. In addition, it feels like the hype has been totally absent for Dogfood. Don't think I've heard a single person eating here. And with the disappointment from the box (the same owner all three) fresh in memory as the icing on the touch, expectations were superlow. Was disproved, hefty!
Already from outside I felt that this was not as expected when you were greeted by a beautiful, clear-out Flippin-inspired, logo. Inside the room I was struck both by the fact that it was really nice; Liked it even more than Flippin I have to say. And the "Flippin-scent" (must be that they use the same bread mixture to the sausage bread?) does not make things worse. Some might think it's disgusting? For me it is watering in the mouth.
The menu consists of a bunch of sausages, two sandwiches, chicken wings and some sides. Here comes today's first two minuses. No ordinary fries, just sweet potatoes etc. And it's expensive! I was recommended to take both a sausage and chicken wings If I was hungry, and it turned out to be the perfect amount of time. But 250 kr with a Cola to is well taken.
I actually took the food on take away, and then I am always worried that it should look like carelessness to jam, become cold, geggigt and not as good. Imagine to my surprise that the sausage was the best looking I saw when I opened. Every little lökbit was left perfectly on it and no sauce had run off or scribbled. In addition, it was quite easy to eat (it looks difficult), just as the burgers on Flippin are a bit unique with, which I still have to give a plus for. Have for me it was a lamb sausage with pulled pork, onion, mustard and sour cream on or similar.
Not only was the sausage neat, it was the tastiest sausage I've ever eaten. I pondered a while on whether I would give the Dogfood full pot or not (the price chafes a bit), but when you note it, that it is the tastiest sausage ever, then it must still weigh over. The chicken wings were nice too, equally so the dip to. And Colan was just like on Flippin, cold, but would need an additional 2-3 degrees cooler. 😜
