Must say I was not hungry to go to Ling Long. Read the menu and did not fall directly by the chair of enthusiasm-although I really like Asian food so let it... Yes... A bit dull. A little bland somehow. But I let myself be persuaded.
I came before my company and sat down in the bar. Met the world's most glorious bartender! I ordered a champagne drink by the name "Money" which was fantastically good. Then we talked drinks, spirits and most delicious combinations for twenty minutes before my friends showed up.
The dining room at Ling-Long is very cozy. It's pretty small but dull, cozy lighting. Charming and elegantly decorated. You feel welcome and at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The food was, even though I did not have high hopes, absolutely fantastic! Could go back at any time. Avocado Tempura was delicious. Salmon Tartar even better. Their Flower sprouts with yuzu mayo Among the tastes I have ever eaten. Beat the Brussel sprouts at Berns, which was not easy. It sounds boring when you read it, but it's so fantastic good! Had been able to order another one but stopped me.
All the more reason to go back now I suppose?
