Wow! I think you either love Melt, or quite the opposite. As you can see on the grade, I am one who love it! But what is it? It's an experience, you can call it Burlesquebar? I do it now, they call it themselves "speakeasy bar" Googling so you will understand.
I have never eaten here, so I unfortunately cannot judge. However, I love the Crystal Cut Punch bowls that are shared on. It is served in crystal bowl and drinks from such Old English teacups.
But the best thing is that it is live entertainment! It can be anything between heaven and made, burlesque, circus, song, dance you name it. There is a little along on the ore street with covered windows. When you come in, it's like going back in time. It's not big, it's & with crowded, but it's nice and every single millimeter is utilized by guests, furniture or entertainment! Finish with one of the rules that apply to the Melt so that you get some feeling: be LOUD! The beauty of live entertainment is that you as an audience have an effect on the show! If you are a great audience you will get a great show! Cheer, clap, whistle, have fun, and let the per formers know if you like what you see!

Awesome cocktails and some nice prohibition-feeling (beer served with a paper bag around) and the staff has adopted 20-century feeling. Jazz music and mixed crowd – they had could get lower lighting something but that's my only comment.
I love this place. Maybe not so much for the food (but it's really quite okay) but for the drinks, the atmosphere, the staff and not least the entertainment! We like the combination of jazz and easy climbing.
