Would really have visited Koh Phangan this evening but then our booking fuss we got to quickly rethink and went here instead of a mere coincidence. It smelled sick good already when we stepped into the room and was met by a staff that was very polite and cozy. It felt a bit like getting home, cozy. The atmosphere was relaxed and we felt a great calm when we landed in the chairs at the table. It is a fine line between what is considered well thought out and not but in my opinion it felt like that everything still had an ulterior motive, not in a fine dining way, but it went to understand why it was full of diners in the restaurant. All the small details such as the porcelain, the decanters, the staff's costumes, the music and the polite phrases were uniform and it felt professional.
menu, Thai inspired and it was easy to understand how the arrangement looked. The price here for a main course is between 140-250 KR and for this type of food... I don't know, I'm used to paying a little small amount. But it was arbitrary now in retrospect when the portions were good enough. We started by ordering their family mix with deep fried spring rolls, shrimp, chicken & räkdumplings, 138 kr. Enough to 4 people as a fresh and crispy hungersläckare. Finely fried, good sweet and sour sauce and the filling in the different dish actually tasted what the menu promised.
After this, pretty soon came our main courses in and I ordered a Pad Thai with stir-fried rice noodles, eggs and shrimps, 170 kr. Clearly approved but then is "after the tavern-Pad Thai" at 3 o'clock at night tastier and more alluring, I prefer when it is a little såsigare and almost Kletigt. The condiment that they had put on the side made me confused and then the right was already a little dry, I left the spices in his little bowl, did not want to create a sandstorms similar history in the mouth.
My dad ordered their Pad Maet Mamoung (a little strong) wok with vegetables, cashew nuts, rice and steak, 165 kr. And this VA absolutely perfect. The vegetables were crispy, the steak hinted at that euphoric grilled taste, the sauce had good balance between the sweetness and heat and the rice bowl that was added handed to two people. I had eaten with joy late at night, or at any meal. The other party ordered the same as US and the sum total Room: satisfied. We finished the dinner with coffee, where the påtår was included, and got to it a good little chocolate piece.
Fits all different types of company and I intend to actually go here again and bring me a box of their Pad Maet Mamoung, really nice.
