I'm one of the people who's heard so much good about this place over a long period of time. I really like the Japanese food culture and this time it was to go to Ramen Ki-Mama. It is located a good distance up on Birger Jarlsgatan so where visits really need to be planned. Unless you happen to live or work nearby. I myself walked past the place not just once but twice so keep an eye out as you approach you.
The room itself is really worn out not cozy anywhere and the whole place needs a refresh. On all levels. The staff is nice and helpful. The menus are sloppy and sloppy and have pictures of all dishes. I always raise a warning finger when pictures of the food in the menu. They tend to be a bad sign. The frame prices are really variable from 140-210 kr. We each ordered a frame, the bowls are gigantic and you get a small wooden ladle that looks like someone could have carved together in the woodwork.
The saddest thing about ramen here is that there is a lot of broth and little content, I slurped in the whole frame and didn't feel very full. The meat was good and tender but everything was kind of lacking in flavor and then I had ordered a yakuniku ramen. Good thing was that you got large water glasses, the glasses were old beer glasses with the print of a Japanese keel. Well to this place I will not eat again. There are clearly better frame places that you have easier roads past.
