Edit June 2023: Still one of my absolute favorites. I go here at least once a year. An underrated tip is to try the "nut back" in the bar. Like 100g of meat, for 110 SEK, and it's fucking not far from the crowbar (which I think costs 1500 SEK per 100g). If I have to say something negative, I can think you are always fooled by the wagyu slides. Looks incredible on the menu, but always gets a little "meh".
Their chef's table should be experienced by everyone at least once. Here you sit inside by the kitchen, up to 8 people. You can control the music yourself and mess up as much as you want in principle. The menu is a treat of around 6 dishes. Costs a lot, but it's worth it!
Original review 2014: Usually keeps AG as my absolute favorite restaurant in Stockholm. Sometimes some temporary star sails up to the top (my last visit to Griffins was absolutely amazing for example), but AG always comes back as the favorite. I've been here almost 10 times, and not once have I been disappointed. Not with ONE SINGLE dish. And then expectations are always high.
Usually I eat the entrecote on bones for two people, but lately I've broadened my horizons a bit. Last time I tried the Scottish one, which I almost have to say was the best so far. Have also tried the Polish, waguy, and their "grand cru". For starters you have to try the burratta mozzarella (split it though as it is huge, and add bacon or their awesome carpaccio)
NIce environment, good bar, always top class treatment. This is one of the world's coolest restaurants.
