Agnes.

I have been looking at Agnes for a long time, several I know had been there and expectations had built up.
The restaurant has a nice design, slightly long narrow, bright with Scandinavian features.
The service is great, well informed about food and drink. The staff provides a great atmosphere.
I had clearly the highest expectations for the food it was clearly good but nothing directly wow! Very small dishes that are good, to the more expensive direction and small. Got recommendations from the waitress which dishes we would choose. According to her, this was the best Agnes had to offer, boring when they are not on top.
A gift tip is that they have gift cards, fun thing!
Agnes is definitely a place I will give another chance!

Actually, I want to put four (or five) because both the food and the service delivers better than in many places but I sway because I'm afraid I've been price blind. Is it really okay that 4 really small dishes + 2 glasses of wine should cost 700 crowns? It is with a lump in the belly I put three stars at the same time as I WARMLY recommend you to visit Agnes and judge for yourself.
Gather a bunch of yelpare in one place and it will be a successful night regardless and at a restaurant called Agnes, I was kindly set and easily excited for our visit. I and Heather M came half an hour before and took the place in the bar for a glass of wine. The room is oblong, just enough light for okay pictures and the dueling is neat and simple without being boring. The bar runs along the entire restaurant and creates a good balance with food guests and bar guests. When we arrived it was almost empty, but during the evening the venue was filled to be nearly full. It is difficult to know the clientele because it was mixed in all ages. I think that they already got regulars, that's the kind of place you want to hang often on. Had I lived nearby I had eaten and then tricked down on some small dishes.
Our company ordered a delightful mix of chark, small dishes of all kinds and also some main dishes and desserts. The menu is built considering that the table will take in and share the glory. There are also some dishes that are supposed for 2-4 people, "social dining" is not just trendy, it's a reality here. Luckily, we had booked the kitchen table which is located a bit away from the other tables and in direct connection to the kitchen. It's the only way to go in my eyes so gather your friends and book the table. It is popular so book in time.
I got stuck for Sobrasada, Pimientos de padron, sweetbreads with truffle and salsite and Pulpo (Octopus heart) with fried potatoes and green salsa. I also got to taste both king crab, fennel salami, fried artichoke with aioli and ravioli. All the dishes were tasteless good with just the right amount of everything. The most delicious for me was sweetbreads with truffle and salsiastit but I can't stop thinking about pulpon or the deep fried artichoke. You probably understand that we were all satisfied with the food.
It is not easy to take orders for a larger company when there are small dishes and we could hardly decide but the service was good all evening. It was observant on when we needed more drink, when it was time to SUCC and I'll admit I didn't even notice when the empty water bottles were replaced to full. Applause for it, even dividing the bill when we were done was a painless story.
So what is it that makes it just a passing grade? I like to eat and I often eat out. Small dishes make me blind when it comes to prices and it's easy that it pulls away. I had easily been able to eat a main course after my small dishes but then I had ended up at 1000 crowns without any problems. I clearly compare Agnes with other places that have small dishes and then drops the grade. If I at Jim & Jacob can get "a bunch of dishes" for 350 kr or a full tasting menu at Omakase köttslöjd for 1000 crowns, I have difficulty justifying the high price, no matter how good it is.
It is with trembling hands I now choose to publish my review and hope anyway that I leave you feeling that you want to go here, because it is good for real. Maybe I'll be full price blind shortly and raises the rating but now you know what I think, right now.
