Had a wonderful evening at Leijontornet - it's been a long time since I was this happy with a restaurant visit. We had told in advance that we had a small dog with us so we were placed near the entrance which was a great help when you needed to take a break during the evening. A nice brioche was served as a snack and both the beef fillet tartare and the risotto were good starters. The champagne glasses are large and I was pleasantly surprised by a new variety that has not been tried before. Drank an incredible Spanish wine by the glass that was really full pot. Might be reasonable when it costs 400 SEK per glass, but yes, it was really pure pleasure. The big mistake we made was to order a cotaletta milanese, because this my friends is a monster! The double breading and the phrase was absolutely magical and it just couldn't stop eating even though it was taking. Next time we will share one. Hadn't needed espresso liqueur in the affogaton as the sweetness from the vanilla ice cream was enough and it was perfect to share this together with the madeleine cakes with punch. I felt that I needed to be towed out when the evening was over but it was with a big smile on my face. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!
