Lunch visit to the newly opened Ruben. Sat out on the border of a little small outdoor terrace. Located centrally and well but does not have as cozy a part outside as the neighbors a little further away, as it is right by the hay square's subway entrance. The menu is a bit smaller with a few choices, 2 of which were today's lunch - but we only had a choice of one when the other was over (we came for an early lunch sitting, so it can't have been for the day). I guess maybe you haven't got a feel for all the logistics yet. It was a risotto with green asparagus that was very well cooked and tasty. I am always a little wary of ordering risotto as I think it is a bit of a gamble if it has been cooked in a good way, but this one was very good. Would have loved to try Ruben several times!
