Artisanal ramen in Japanese surroundings 

In the foodie Slakthusområde neighbourhood, Stockholm's former meatpacking district, you'll find Sin Ramen Slaughterhouse, a sister restaurant to Sin Ramen in Stockholm city. The focus here is on “kikanbo ramen” – that is, ramen that will stimulate all five senses.

At Sin Ramen Slaughterhouse, the ambition is not just to be a restaurant, but rather a culinary destination just outside the city centre. This is done by combining innovative flavours with artisanal cooking, and framing the whole thing with a vibrant atmosphere.

The menu mainly revolves around different varieties of ramen, with homemade noodles and broths as the common denominator. In addition to noodle bowls, small snacks, gyoza and fried chicken are also served. The drinks list follows the same theme as the food, with a wide selection of the Japanese liquor sake, which the staff is happy to share their knowledge about. If you want something different by the glass, there are beer, wine and non-alcoholic options.

The dimly lit space is reminiscent of Tokyo's backstreets, with colourful neon lights, Japanese signs, paintings and masks depicting Japanese demons. Thanks to large glass walls facing the kitchen, guests can get a glimpse into the chefs' work and the craftsmanship behind the food.
