Nice environment and good food but not wow. Maybe two dishes out of seven that were wow but the rest was just good. We had to wait a good while before we could order drinks. Surfers i Visby slog igenom med ett brak för ett par år sedan. Fantastisk Sichuanmat och rejält med drag flera dagar i veckan tillsammans med bra personal gjorde Surfers till mångas favorit, min med.

Så kom dagen det kom till Stockholm. Jag borde ha gått direkt i början och inte väntat med högra och högre förväntningar. Det gör mig lite ledsen så här i efterhand.

Tillsammans med mina kollegor blev det till slut ett besök.

Stämningen när vi kom in var hög på ovanvåningen med baren och lugnare på nedre plan. Vi fick ett toppenbord lite upphöjt och det enda negativa var egentligen att vi inte kunde prata så bra över bordet.

En koriander-cocktail till att börja med som var som att dricka ren koriander, lycka!

Vår servis för kvällen var toppen och rekommenderade oss att ta in 6 olika rätter, hon kom sedan och kollade av oss under kvällen. Att en annan servis fullkomligt flippade ur när vi utbrast i glada rop och ville fota maten var bara helt märkligt.

Vi tog in rättikssallad, krispig tofu med ingefära, kyckling med sesampasta, revbensspjäll, räkbollar, och pilgrimsmussla. Rättikssallad är verkligen ett bra val mellan rätterna för att fräscha upp. Annars var tofun och revbensspjällen mina favoriter. Bra texturer, tydliga smaker och balans med sött och hett. Kycklingen hade jag klarat mig utan.

Maten kom in i omgångar och vi hade en underbar kväll eftersom sällskapet var det allra bästa. Goda cocktails med roliga namn.
