Un Poco Bar

Finally I have been eating Un Pocos food. The 4 out of 5 stars are motivated exclusively by the taste that the food delivered and when I eaten a taster truffle pasta at another restaurant in Stockholm I couldn't with giving the full pot. But do not be fooled by it-for this food delivers high quality.

At the visit we sat in Bakfickan to the restaurant, an active and youthful atmosphere which I appreciate. The venue is rustic and the atmosphere as well as the menu is Italian and international at the same time. Classic Italian According to custom with Antipasti to Dolce and with a parting that fried OREO-cakes & milk sorbet. For a main course you pay around 170-290kr, which is expected and acceptable. The staff was super nice and backed up us in a very professional and invisible way throughout the evening. And the music that was perfectly played in the background, actually think they've snown one of my playlists on Spotify in stealth, perfect!

In the water of the food was served two fluffy and warm small bread balls with whipped butter, until it stood olive oil and flake salt ready on the table. Very nice and the basic bread's unique shape was immediately awakened an increased curiosity about the food that would be served. We started by ordering their burrata Caprese (145KR) with sugar-fried tomatoes, matured balsamico and basil oil. Everything did its on the plate and you get like that wonderfully warm in the body when you see the cheese drain out on the sides when you cut it. Perfect creamy, flavorful cheese and raised with balsamicons good acidity and fruit flavor.

For the main course we ordered truffle stewed macaroni with chives and lemon (170KR) and ravioli with browned butter, sage and small pieces of almond Cubb (175KR). We were quite clearly agreed that the macarons were tonight's winner. Clear truffle flavor, good cooked pasta and lemon that snewed on after a couple of bites and gave a refreshing feeling. However, we thought it was a bit too little sauce and the pasta poorly salted, still good but a little moodkiller. As for their ravioli, we were satisfied, purely the creation, it looked like a work of art but the stuffing in the pasta lacked depth. The taste was relatively mild and unfortunately disappeared in the seared butter, a stronger cheese had done the trick. But fun with the pumpkin kernels that gave a crunchy element to all the soft and creamy.

Overall we are very satisfied and are happy to return but next time to the real restaurant to try something new!
