A few weeks ago I tested Astoria and now I have also tested the other super hyped restaurant opening for 2021, Dagmar, which is also right next door. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a disappointment. Certainly the environment and concept live up to the hype, it's a great place. But food-wise, it certainly wasn't a success, and besides, the service made several botched mistakes.
First of all, we got a table with bar stools without backrests. Fine for me, but two in my company asked if we could switch to the table next door. It didn't work out, because there was going to be a party there, which felt surprising considering that it was 6.55pm with a lay-out at 8.30pm. corona restrictions. That party never showed up...
It took 20 minutes to get four glasses of champagne, which is a bit disturbing normally, but when you have a table at 18.45 in corona times, it gets worse. At 8:10 p.m., my party asks for a glass of wine, but we are then told what time it is and that our waitress missed taking the last order. In addition to the misses, the service is mediocre, not very charming and rather poor review of the menu and dishes.
The food is certainly not a disaster, but of the 8-9 dishes I tried, none raised any eyebrows. Not even the lobster schnitzel, a middle course for 400 kr(!), is a wow experience, even if it belongs to the top 3 for the evening. Most were ok though! The duck liver bug was good, generous with duck liver. Even the cauliflowers were good. The Club sandwich variant was one of the tastier ones. The biancho pizza, some truffle variant, was a good and nice element (nice to be able to get one of those mini pizzas), but far from any sensation considering how spoiled you have become with good pizzas in recent years. Calamarine was good. The croquettes were like that, as was pulpon, and hamachine among the worst I've eaten in a long time, very strange composition.
Both food and drink are overall quite pricy.
So the bottom line is, it's a supernice place, and if they can elevate themselves a little food-wise, I'll be happy to come back. Service you can always be unlucky / lucky with and I am used to it can vary a little in such big places, but you can not ignore it for that (can add to me that my company thought the service was horrible, I am a little more forgiving😊).
Edit July 2022: Been here for brunch now and still don't think it lives up to even high expectations. Ate a burger, which on paper sounded perfect with 2x100g smashat, silver onion, majo and jalapenos. Unfortunately, it was pretty mediocre, nowhere near what the average burger place delivers today. The fries served to were just fine, nothing special. Also ate a pizza (vesuvio). Good flavors, but too small (especially if you don't eat the edges - could have eaten 3 pcs) and had had to stand for a while in the kitchen before it came in, you felt.

Went here for a drink and liked how the interior, the feeling and the impression was when you stepped in, really nice! Good wine and just the right amount of music for it to be festive but still so you can hold a conversation. However, the service was not top notch. Apparently stood and waited in the wrong place which several people who worked saw but no one who helped or asked if I had booked a table, boring first meeting. They felt most bothered. Will go back because I think the place is cozy, but is very expensive and does not live up to the ones you want to get when you get there.

The grade commutes, but it still has to be a four. Come here for the food, the environment and the wine. Not too few service, unfortunately. Incredibly good food, thoughtful, well prepared, the wine list was exciting, not so recognizable producers which was fun (for three wine nerds) since the environment is super cozy. The service was incredibly wobbly, the sommelier saved lunch if you say so. We still walked away satisfied.

Hypat absolut. Absolut gott men ingenting man hoppar högt över. Gissa om jag blev irriterad när servitören missade att ta min dessertbeställning pga 4 min för sent. Så, mysig inredning på gården men vill man äta går jag hellre någon annanstans.

The food no aha experience and nothing you remember either, got a refrigerator-cold Pelle Jansson who would need some love at room temperature, dizzying service without real control of what is happening, do not really understand why this hype on the place ?
Prices affordable but feel free to raise and precomponent the dishes, stop playing tapa restaurant, the food should be shared, etc., do the right thing given the super stylish environment and location.
This will be bubbly & Rosé hang out for Östermalmsladies with chipped miniature dogs, nothing you look back to if you want to eat a good meal.
You'll have to rein in some of the somelieren, too, the wine list resembled an old school phone book.
