You can’t go wrong with Hawksmoor for a nice group dinner, especially if steaks are your thing. The fish is excellent here too, and don’t sleep on the spinach. Their cocktails are top too. This branch is pretty small and smug compared to some of the others, so bigger bookings might want...
Decent pub, with a pleasantly old feel to it. Even though it looks tiny downstairs, there’s more room upstairs. The staff have a very relaxed attitude.
Nice pub, was very busy when we were there but it does have a lot of outside space - the little terrace above is especially nice. Mixed clientele and nice array of beers, even if a bit on the expensive side.
Really liked this place - very nice and cosy, with really friendly staff. Had the pistachio baklava pancakes and the French toast, both were extremely good, and we tried their brownies as well - really nice and smooth without being too gooey, very good. Great coffee too!
Ordered the Spice Bag Special pizza from here and it was really tasty - never had pizza like it before, but loved the zingy flavours paired with Yard Sale's reliably good dough.
A really nice pub with a beautiful, bright dining room, complete with a fireplace. Went here for Sunday lunch and had a great time - the food was excellent. The Guinness soda bread with marmite butter is a bit addictive, and the salmon special was perfect, accompanied by the most amazing potatoes -...
Decent enough arena for concerts, though it does show its age a bit, particularly when it comes to the facilities.
Ordered ice cream from here and it was excellent - creamy and full of flavour. You can even get a brioche with it, Sicily style!
The bagels are fine, good even. They’re also £12 for a lox & schmear that’s on the smallish size. Good but overpriced.
The Soho Duck and Rice is great - excellent Chinese food in a pretty, cosy setting. I especially loved the wasabi prawns. It was packed when we went for Sunday lunch, so booking ahead is advised.
