Vattenverket Näset

At Vattenverket in Lidingö you can enjoy freshly baked bread, buns and croissants that are baked in the stone oven at Vattenverket's bakery next to Lake Kottla (Kottlasjön). This slightly smaller sister café is on Källängstorget and, as well as buns and bread, you can also enjoy a light lunch or tasty breakfast here. 

Vattenverket's philosophy is reflected in everything they do: top quality ingredients and a love of good food make the magic. This is visible in the form of the baked goods that come straight out of the stone oven, but also the smoothies, yoghurt, grilled sandwiches and hearty sandwiches that are perfect for a cosy breakfast or light lunch. They believe you should be able to enjoy both a healthy smoothie and a world-class cardamom bun all under the same roof.  

Everything is baked from scratch and delivered daily, so they can always boast fresh bread and buns. Their sourdough bread is baked in the same oven as the cinnamon and cardamom buns, and their croissants also include a certain amount of sourdough and are layered and rolled with real butter in twelve layers to make them properly crisp and buttery. You can buy the goods to take home with you or enjoy on site, either inside the cosy café or alfresco during the summer months.
