Hedengrens in Sturegallerian shopping centre opened in 1897 and it's a must-visit for all book lovers. They call themselves an "indie bookshop" and there are masses of interesting finds here. The ground floor isn't that big, but head downstairs and you can browse for hours. You can also attend authors' evenings and other events here.

Few places are as fascinating as an authentic antiquarian bookstore. Rönnellls Antikvariet, a stone's throw from Stureplan, was founded in 1929 and is just as relevant today.
