Wonderful place in a truly magical environment. I have eaten dinner here at 3 times and Christmas buffet once. All the aisles have been absolutely amazing and the experience itself is wonderful. At Christmas time it is so incredibly nice to knock off. If you are not in the Christmas spirit, you will definitively be after your visit. Julpynt, flowers, big Christmas tree, light candles, the castle and the water as backdrop if not they were probably came also a julkör from Adolf Fredrik. Magic. The food is wonderful, both on the Christmas dinner and the tasting menu. Can really recommend everyone to visit this venerable restaurant!

This is a place that I thought lived on old merits and oh so wrong I was!
It all starts with helping you open the door to hanging you off, we didn't have to give anyone a name because they knew which company was waiting. Maybe we were last for this evening who knows, no matter very nice. You get help to push the chair in while you sit down. Must clearly tell you about the little handbag puff. Instead of having the hand liquid on the floor like most other places, it is left as if on a pouf next to you. Bangs off so ingenious! The tables are round and the placement we got was out in the dining room so we could sit and watch. The room itself is grand and on a short side we could glimpse a fireplace with a burning fire. The windows are gigantic and you soak up the atmosphere. Feels anxiously grown up and the clientele is very mixed, one table was dressed with tailcoat and another table had denim shirt. Calm and relaxed to hear the low murmurs of people talking and appreciating a pleasant moment.
The table setting itself was completely expected, far too much cutlery that you did not really know if you should use or not. White cloth that is strengthened and strengthened to the max. All parts in porcelain and glass have the opera source's logo on them OK.
We ate their tasting menu, menu de chef. The menu itself is really permeated by raw material in focus and high quality. Before the menu starts, you get small appetizers and bread heavenly good stuff.
Seared scallop from Fröya with cauliflower cream, pickled turnip and browned butter. This dish was by far my favorite. Dishes are varied with a seafood, a fish, a meat and a vegetarian as well as a dessert. A total of five dishes.
Drinking with the food they had good non-alcoholic options, a cidre and 100% blueberries which are always a winner. The wine list is huge and is rather a book if you want to look, recommend to go on the staff's recommendation they seem to have a close eye on the situation.
A fun feature is that they also have avec trolleys that the staff drag around. As many as four full of alcohol of all different kinds.
Can really recommend eating here, remember, however, that it costs a penny and they may be at one time to celebrate.
In 2020, I will definitely book a Christmas buffet here.

Operakällaren-Environment, service, surprise, taste experience-there are no better grades. Here we went and celebrated Valentine's Day. It was clear that it was not only we who did it, basically all the tables had only couples. Here you sit side by side at large spacious round tables in a fantastic local, wagons with cheese, desserts and digestives pass by occasionally. The service is impeccable and there is nothing to complain about. We decided to take in an Á la carte 3-course menu and it meant that we ate 5 small dishes, amuses de bouche, sorbet to still the flavors and sweetly to the coffee and the food smelter in addition to our menu. Maybe you do not go to OK a normal weekday, but why not? The price of the Á la carte menu is no more expensive than a good restaurant in town if you take in a 3 rättters, here you get so much more so the visit will be affordable and well worth every penny and even more. The wine list is long and impressive, and this is where the bill is rushing if you want to drink delicious wines to the food. Are you celebrating? Surprise someone? Go to Operakällaren and enjoy!
