Have previously tried their buns as takeaway that have been VERY good! This time I enjoyed a breakfast here on a rainy Saturday morning. Nice staff, good breakfast selection and plenty of buns! :)

I have kind of decided to review Skeppsbro Bakery on the occasion that I was so incredibly disappointed the first time me and my family came here - the day after cinnamon bun day. Call me naïve, but I had a hard time expecting that there would be cinnamon buns in large truck bodies for everyone, given that they won the 1st place for Stockholm's tastiest cinnamon bun. But no... it was instead bare scraped on almost everything (in addition to the cinnamon buns) in the dishes and the staff was so incredibly cocky when I asked if there were no left. With all due respect, I understand that this question would probably have come 100 times before - but you can still act professionally in that situation and say "no unfortunately, but we still have our super good cardamom buns left that you can try instead" instead of "*sigh*, no as you see, it's all over". AND(!) in the middle of all this after we had ordered cardamom buns instead, mom saw that there were actually cinnamon buns left but that was in a basket cut up for all the lunch guests ... which we did NOT receive any information about. I mean, come on... if we had known, we would of course have chosen a lunch instead. And yes, my disappointment that there "were" no cinnamon buns can absolutely influenced my negative interpretation in its context but you understand the point. It's all about an experience, service and sales, isn't it?

But now I have at least been there three times and created me a fairly overall picture of the place. Firstly, the staff is unfortunately not service-minded. There has been dishes everywhere (both outside and inside) at all times, the coffee has either been burnt or out and the service at checkout has been generally lethargic. So amazingly too bad considering that the room is relatively cozy and large, the outdoor terrace is completely clean along the water and the coffee is good. From previous reviews judging, I may have had bad luck and I will actually go back when the outdoor terrace reopened in the spring to see if the bad luck turns. Eating things that are baked or made with 100% organic ingredients rhymes quite well with my philosophy of diet, which you will find at Skeppsbro Bakery - and it tastes so damn good too!

Har varit förbi bageriet ett flertal gånger och främst köpt med då det ofta är fullt. Det tar ofta väldigt lång tid att få göra en beställning och personalen verkar ganska ointresserade av sina kunder. Denna gång ville jag köpa med en frukostmackan men såg ingen med bara ost, de ordnar med en och jag betalar 48 kr för smörgåsen. Dyrt enligt mig men tänkte att den säkert är värd varenda krona.,, mycket besviken när jag väl kommer hem, torr tråkig och endast några trötta gurkskivor som pålägg utöver osten. Kom igen, mer förväntar man sig av 48 kr.
